Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 August 2026 · This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

1. Who is responsible

K2026618382 (SOUTH AFRICA) is the responsible party for the personal information described here. Our Information Officer is Christian Landman, reachable at shoutout.support@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

When you orderName, email, contact number, business name, branch, delivery address, order notes
When you request a quoteName, business name, email, city, and anything you type into the form
When you payNothing. Card details go directly to Yoco — they never reach us
When you browseBasic, aggregated usage statistics. We do not track you across other websites

3. Why we use it

To program and deliver your cards, to answer your questions, to process your payment, and to keep records we are legally required to keep. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.

4. Who we share it with

  • Yoco — to take payment
  • The Courier Guy — your name, address and phone, to deliver
  • Netlify — hosting of this website
  • Anyone we are required to share with by law

5. Where it is stored

Some of these providers store data outside South Africa. Where that happens, POPIA requires the receiving country or provider to offer comparable protection, and we rely on the providers’ own transfer safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for five years to meet tax and accounting obligations. Quote enquiries that do not become orders are deleted within 12 months.

7. Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, and complain to the Information Regulator. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable period.

8. Cookies

We use your browser’s local storage to remember your cart and the details you have typed at checkout, so you do not have to retype them. This stays on your device. We ask before enabling basic analytics.

9. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Payment happens on Yoco’s systems, not ours, so we never hold card data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.
